Bio:

Born and raised in Kolkata, India, schooled in the United States, and attending residencies in Italy and Mexico has informed a sensitivity to location, dislocation, praxis, temporality, and place. Her conceptual vocabulary is informed by her BA in Literature received at Stephan’s College in Delhi, India and her MFA, received at Hunter College in New York City. She is currently an Adjunct lecturer at City College and Brooklyn College and a Teaching Artist with Studio in a School, Brooklyn Arts Council and City Lore. Past teaching assignments have included the Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of the Moving Image, Free Arts, Artistic Noise, Children's Village and Sadie Nash Leadership Program.
